FIELD: printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: the book has notebooks, whose sheets have zones of bends, the notebooks are connected to the fasteners, and the spine includes several components connected in such a way that in the closed state the components of the spine serve as restrictors of the notebooks with fasteners, and in the open state they make it possible for the notebooks and the books cover to separate. Provision is made for stiffening elements attached to which are two holders located along the shorter sides of the spine. The holders have recesses on the side of the spine for placement of the fastening components in them, which are taken out behind the notebook, and restrictors of motion of the fastening components along the shorter wall of the spine, the holder is rigidly connected to the stiffening element, which in its turn, is connected to the cover by a tie allowing a turn of the cover. And what is more, the additional components of the holder, which have recesses on the side of the spine for the fastening components taken out behind the notebook, and restrictors of motion of the fastening components along the shorter wall of the spine, the holder and the holder additional components may be rigidly fastened to one another, and the additional components of the holder may be fastened to the stiffening element.

EFFECT: enhanced convenience and reliability of fastening of the notebooks to the cover, cheaper production of the book block and easier repair.
