FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method to install an auxiliary element onto a pre-installed door or window frame, on which a driving unit is installed, comprising at least one actuator and one transfer rod, installed in at least one slot of the frame. The method includes a stage, when a connection is established between the auxiliary element and the specified rod with the possibility of sliding in longitudinal direction and fixation in any direction perpendicular to the sliding direction. The method also includes a stage for formation of a through hole in the rod by means of a screw carried with the auxiliary element and attaching the auxiliary element to the specified rod by engagement of the end of the specified screw with the specified through hole.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to install auxiliary elements on pre-installed door and window frames and makes it possible to exclude stages of measurement, cutting and drilling of the rod.
