FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: driving device for door and window frames comprises at least one driving element and at least one transfer rod connected to a driving element. The transfer rod comprises a central part and two side parts arranged at opposite sides relative to the central part and forming two chute-like longitudinal guides. The central part has a longitudinal slot arranged between longitudinal guides. The longitudinal slot of the central part is closed with the base. The driving element has a connection part, comprising two longitudinal ribs with edges profiled so that formation of a telescopic joint is ensured with longitudinal guides of a transfer rod, and a central part arranged between ribs and equipped with a threaded hole. There is a screw inserted into a threaded hole, having a tip made as capable of cutting a hole in the base of the transfer rod near the longitudinal slot. A piece of material produced when forming a through hole and separated from the base is held between the side walls of the longitudinal slot.
EFFECT: invention ensures a stronger fixation compared to a friction joint and makes it possible to eliminate deformations of a transfer rod.
