FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: well screen comprises a support frame and a filter membrane concentrically mounted thereon. The filter membrane contains at least one layer of a drainage mesh, two layers of filter meshes and an external protection enclosure made of a mesh similar to the drainage one. A support frame of the filter membrane is a bar system formed by circular bars one of which has a radial-profile groove extended to the bar centre and designed for fastening filter membrane meshes. The bars are fixed and welded along contact contours to two pin-ended steel cylinder supports for a coupling and to steel rod carrying rings bended for bar drowning. The filter membrane meshes are coiled consistently above the bars to overlap the mesh ends symmetrically to the radial groove bar. Then the filtering membrane is welded to the support frame.

EFFECT: increased open area of the support, higher filtration characteristics.
