SUBSTANCE: composite authoring request includes a special content type header value which identifies the request as one of composite authoring requests and a special extensions header which includes a composite HTTP protocol authoring instruction. The computer system has a processor and a machine-readable medium which stores instructions which, upon execution by the processor, prompts it to process, at the server computer, standard HTTP requests and requests which correspond to the HTTP authoring protocol, send an indicator to the client computer, receive composite authoring requests at the server computer and process composite authoring requests at the server computer.
EFFECT: enabling client devices and severs to use composite authoring requests with one discrete exchange.
