SUBSTANCE: method for end-to-end encryption and transmission of encrypted voice data in public mobile communication networks, in which a connection is established between transceiving parts (modems) of user equipment to form a "transparent" duplex communication channel; cryptographic synchronisation of encryption devices of user equipment is performed over the formed communication channel and an encrypted communication channel is established; voice-conversion devices are synchronised; synchronisation of all elements of user equipment is maintained during reception/transmission of encrypted voice data. The invention also discloses user equipment for encryption and transmission of encrypted voice data (cellular telephone), comprising "untrusted" software-hardware which does not affect the information security level and "trusted" software-hardware.
