SUBSTANCE: bush cutter comprises a frame, supports and units of fixation of a driven flexible cutting element. Flexible cutting elements are made in the form of knives comprising six cutting edges connected by brackets that form a flexible joint. Flexible cutting elements are installed on discs of movable and fixed parts along the axis of the driving shaft. Interaction of a master disc with discs is done by means of a friction pad.
EFFECT: reduced energy intensity and increased reliability of the device.
