FIELD: forestry, in particular, equipment for care clearing of cuttings. SUBSTANCE: brush cutter has frame and section adapted for carrying working tool, working tool drive and pusher. This section is pivotally connected to frame. Brush cutter working tool is formed as disk with cutting members pivotally attached to its peripheral part. Working tool is mounted on section hydraulically controlled in transverse plane. Pusher is mounted on this section for displacement along it and is made in the form of arced bracket with curvature of front portion equal to diameter of disk. Hydraulically controlled section is coupled to frame through vertical pivot hinge and two hydraulic cylinders symmetrically arranged in horizontal plane. Faceplates are arranged in equally spaced relation on front face of pusher, with length of faceplates being equal to faceplate spacing. Brush cutter is attached to rear hitch of self-propelled chassis. Such construction allows continuous adjustment of working width and cultivation of interrows having different width to be performed. Brush cutter may be used for tillage of protective zones and forest crop row spacings. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, increased efficiency and provision for reduced manual labor. 3 cl, 2 dwg
