FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to psychology of individual differences and can be used in career guidance and psychological consulting. 4 stages of task are performed, at each of which tested person within specified time draws one similar specified figure in cells of determined shape and size. Time of first and second stage of task fulfillment are equal, time of fulfillment of third stage is shorter, than time for fulfillment of first and second stages of task, time for fulfillment of fourth stage is shorter than time for fulfillment of third stage of task. Index of level of person's pretensions is calculated by formula where LPn is level of pretensions at n-th stage, LAn is level of achievements at n-th stage, and in accordance with index of level of tested person's pretensions, level and adequacy of their pretensions are diagnosed: LP≥3.7 -unrealistically high level of pretensions; 3.7>LP≥2.2 -high level of pretensions; 2.2>LP≥0 - moderate level of pretensions; 0>LP≥-1.5 -low level of pretensions; -1.5>LP - unrealistically low level of pretension.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy of diagnosing person's level of pretensions.
