SUBSTANCE: invention refers to psychology, namely to sports psychophysiology. It is followed by psychophysiological testing of a candidate for phygital sportsmen with the help of a battery of tests, determining the following indicators: "emotional lability" – x1, "assessment of communicative-character characteristics of personality" – x2, "intelligence coefficient" – x3, "total score" – x4, "personal competitiveness" – x5, "group motivation" – x6, "coefficient of functional asymmetry" – x7, "reaction rate" – x8, "deflection angle" – x9. If conditions are met simultaneously: x1 is more than 4 points, x2 more than 3.5 points, x3 more than 100 points, x4 more than 27 points, x5 more than 30 points, x6 more than 100 points, x7 more than 30%, x8 less than 230 ms, x9 is less than 45 degrees, suitability of the person being tested for phygital sports is made. If the conditions are not met, a conclusion is made that the person being tested is unsuitable for phygital sports.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to simply and reliably determine professional fitness of a phygital sportsman.
