FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: sample for testing fireproofing of steel structures has a double-tee steel core, a fire-protective coating and thermoelectric converters. The sample is characterised by that the steel core is small-sized and is in form of composite linked components of shelves and a double-tee steel arm, fitted with handles for transportation; the thermoelectric converters are in form of protected reusable thermocouples placed between linked thick-sheet plates of a steel touble-tee in control, directionally moved reference points of the shelves of the test sample which is unevenly heated in fire conditions.
EFFECT: steel sample fireproof testing which is close to full-scale for building structures, reduced temperature measurement error in control points of the cross-section of steel structures, simple device of the test sample and low metal consumption, high cost-effectiveness and manufacturability thereof and testing the fire-protective coating.
