FIELD: coatings.
SUBSTANCE: control of parts and products subjected to the application of paint and varnish coatings, both in order to impart decorative properties to surfaces, and to impart various physical and mechanical characteristics to surfaces. The invention relates to the control of parts and products subjected to the application of paint coatings on them. The test sample is exposed to an ultra-jet of liquid under pressure of 80-120 MPa at a supply that guarantees the passage of the jet through the surface of the sample. After exposure to the ultra-jet, a visual comparison is made of the initial area of the paint coating before exposure to the ultra-jet with the remaining area of the paint coating after exposure to the ultra-jet. Evaluate the quality of the coating by the largest remaining painted surface.
EFFECT: possibility of guaranteed assessment of the quality of applied coatings, assessment of the quality of the coating itself and development of the process for applying coatings to parts (products) in order to obtain high-quality products.
