SUBSTANCE: method comprises the following steps: establishing a real-time cooperation session; receiving an unedited resource copy from the owner of the original resource copy; recording the location of the original resource copy, where the location is associated with the owner of the original resource copy; receiving a request for editing the original resource copy when sharing the unedited resource copy; determining whether the requesting party has permission to edit the original resource copy.
EFFECT: easy editing of a shared document owing to initiation of shared use of the original resource copy in editable form and enabling control of the application for editing the original resource copy for the owner or requesting party if authorised by the owner.
