SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling access to an online computing environment. Method of controlling access to online services comprises steps of: using a grid network architecture that includes a plurality of serving computers, including cellular network manager for maintenance of global bindings associated with participants and multiple copies of directory service, dispatcher cellular network functions, partially, to track deployment status of said plurality of directory service and to one or more new copies directory service available for participants at call, wherein cellular network manager provides information on global bindings for synchronising updates of directory service; said plurality of directory service to partially, set access privileges for groups of consumers requesting service serving computers, wherein each copy directory service does not depend on other copies directory service and comprises one or more organisational units, each unit is associated with a separate user and includes authorised users and one or more authorised objects foreign principle objects (FPO); filled with each organisational unit data consumer, used for controlling access to services serving computers, and instances of service directories in machine-readable storage.

EFFECT: efficient use of plurality of instances of service directories.
