FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method of correcting a digital image obtained using X-ray radiation in form of an electrical signal directed onto a digital image forming apparatus is realised as follows. The initial digital image undergoes pyramid decomposition into detail and approximation parts, scattered radiation is removed from the approximation part, contrast is increased and noise is suppressed for the detail parts, the processed detail and approximation parts are merged, and the final image is then reconstructed and formed.
EFFECT: compensating for scattering effects.
