FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming. Proposed method comprises straining rotary billet from a lot of billets by revolving rolls. Said rolls are spaced from mandrel surface. Reduction to preliminary and finished profile is performed by two rolls at a time. First roll features operating section radius of R1=50 mm and spacing of Z1 equal to billet thickness. Second roll features diameter exceeding that of the first roll and operating section radius R2=28 mm and spacing Z2. Spacing Z2 is determined after deforming the first billet from the lot by the first roll to produce the part with diameter d01 using appropriate relationship.
EFFECT: higher precision.
