FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in butt electric resistance welding of, for example, wire in wire drawing in wire bundle integration units. Stationary foundation is coupled with movable foundation. Every said foundation is equipped with top current-conducting electrode and bottom current-conducting electrode with clamping drive made up of pneumatic cylinders. Wire upset pneumatic cylinder is coupled with wire end face compression spring. Proposed device is equipped with two movable foundation return pneumatic cylinders and two movable foundation limit stops. Foundation hinged joint is equipped with rotary eccentric bushings and bushing control lever with its one end pivoted to inner bushing and its opposite end jointed via with rod and pin, with stationary foundation.
EFFECT: heating of butts immediately after welding, higher adjustment accuracy and ruling out of premature wear.
