FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: movable and fixed electrode clamps of the welding machine are equipped with hard-alloy half-bushings with cutting edges faced towards each other. After flashing-off and upsetting of the products to the preset allowance and switching off the welding transformer the upset force is removed in the movable clamp cylinder. The upper electrode of the fixed clamp is lifted per 0.05 mm. By a roller installed at the fixed clamp side the product is lifted with tearing it off from the lower electrode of the fixed clamp. Pressure is supplied to the movable clamp cylinder of the welding machine with step-by-step increase until the product slides through the electrodes of the fixed clamp and flash is cut by the cutting edges of its half-bushings.
EFFECT: improving welding efficiency for products of circular cross-section due to combination of welding operation and flash removing operation right after upsetting at maintenance of upset metal heating and simultaneous reducing wear and tear of contact electrodes clamping surfaces.
