FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering, particularly, to tubular shell from composite material. Proposed tubular shell comprises cellular structure made up of layers consisting of systems of crossed spiral annular and lengthwise tapes that make stiffness ribs alternating over tube wall thickness. Cross section of tubular shell inner surface is described by claimed equation. Lengthwise ribs are arranged along remote sides of said shell.
EFFECT: minimised weight at sufficient stiffness and stability.
