FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mechanical engineering field, in particular to the structures of deep-water vehicles, and can be used in structures operating under external pressure, for example, vacuum chambers. Suggested the deep-water unit body made of composite materials consisting of a cylindrical shell in the form of external and inner continuous layers joined together by ribs and made together with the mentioned above on the basis of a binder impregnated unidirectional reinforcing material, and the bottoms that concaved in a cylindrical casing and connected mechanically with the mentioned, in the first variant, and in the second variant – the closed casing shaped bottoms for internal pressure, connected mechanically with the cylindrical part in their equatorial sections. Bottoms can be made of composite materials or metal.
EFFECT: suggested engineering solution makes it possible to reduce the mass of the deep-water unit with increasing its manufacturability and reliability.
