FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: in a missile with a cassette head part the body of the head part is made of a shell and a nose part connected with the possibility of their mutual longitudinal displacement, and the back part of the head part body shell is rigidly connected to a missile. The frame is made in the form of a central pipe with diameter of 0.15…0.30 of the missile calibre fixed to the nose part of the head part body and the piston, contacting with the inner surface of the head part body shell. The piston is connected by means of rupture bolts with a support disc mounted in the back part of the body shell. Fighting elements are installed in the cavity between the external surface of the central pipe and the inner surface of the body shell, and their longitudinal axes are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the missile. In the body of fighting elements there are through transverse holes, axes of which are radially aligned relative to the longitudinal axis of the missile and are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the fighting elements.
EFFECT: increased fighting efficiency of the missile and even scattering of fighting elements on the surface.
