FIELD: artillery ammunition. SUBSTANCE: cassette nose cone has a fairing with a gas generator, shell, compartment with military components, working chamber, cassette, diaphragm and a piston. The piston and the working chamber are placed in the rear section of the cassette nose cone, the working chamber accommodated the break-down charge. The cassette is provided with flat posts positioned symmetrically to its longitudinal axis. The compartment with military components is gasodynamically connected to the gas generator through gas conduits formed by the surfaces of the shell and military components. The diaphragm, as well as the piston, in the projection of the gas conduits has holes, whose total area in the piston makes up at least 0.06 of the cross-section area of the gas conduits. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of functioning, enhanced efficiency of nose cone with ejection of military components forwards in the direction of projectile motion. 2 dwg
