FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to production of manganese concentrates to be used in smelting of manganese and manganese alloys. Proposed method comprises flushing, screening, classifying and magnetic separation. Flushing is performed on screen with 1mm-mesh to make 1-100 mm-fraction and -1 mm-fraction to be classified. 0.15-0 mm-fraction produced in classification is directed to pit bing, while 1-0.15 mm-fraction is subjected to magnetic separation at 7000-9000 oersted intensity of magnetic field. Magnetic fraction is integrated with lumpy flushed ore to be used in smelting of alloys. Nonmagnetic fraction is directed to pit bing.
EFFECT: higher quality of concentrates.
