FIELD: processing procedures.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly, to concentration of manganese ore with production of qualitative manganese concentrates used for melting manganese and manganese alloys. The procedure for processing manganese ore consists in washing and in sieving ore on a sieve 1 mm, and in production of fractions (-1) mm and (+1) mm; the latter is repeatedly sieved on the sieve 6 mm whereon there is produced fractions of (-6) mm and (+6) mm. The fraction (+6) mm is separated in heavy suspension of density 3.0 g/cm³ with production of concentrate and a light fraction - cleaning rejects. The fraction (-6) mm is subjected to jigging with production of concentrate and industrial product repeatedly subjected to jigging where upon there are produced concentrate and cleaning rejects. Slime (-1) mm is sized on the sieve (0.15) mm with production of cleaning rejects of class (-0.15) mm and industrial product of size (0.15-1.0) mm, which is subjected to magnetic separation at intensity of magnetic field 7000-9000 oersted producing concentrate and wastes of production. Concentrates of all operations are collected for metallurgical or chemical production. All wastes are stored in dump.

EFFECT: raised efficiency of processing and increased content of manganese in concentrates.
