FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to shipbuilding and manufacturing of submarine power unit. This unit includes system of storage and feed of liquid fuel and oxygen, high-pressure combustion chamber, steam boiler, steam line connecting steam boiler with high-temperature steam turbine, generator, steam condenser with deaerator, as well as ejector, heat exchangers, pumps, pipelines and fittings. Power unit features high-temperature steam superheater, separator, compressor and absorbers. Liquid fuel and oxygen feed lines together with steam line with steam flow of 10-20% of total steam amount produced by steam boiler enter high-temperature steam superheater, and superheated steam pipeline exits superheater and leads to steam line before high-temperature steam turbine. Incondensable gas line after condenser and ejector enters separator which is connected to one absorber by gas pipeline and compressor, and spent gas line after steam boiler is connected to the other absorber. Absorbers are connected to outboard space of submarine via pipelines and pumps. Between steam boiler and absorber in the unit, spent gas line can be connected in series with heat exchangers mounted on liquid fuel and oxygen feed lines of high-pressure combustion chamber.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and performance of power unit by raising steam temperature before steam feed to steam turbine; reduced possibility of submarine detection.
