FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: intensity of magnetic field of power plants is measured, at the same time its measurements are carried out continuously, results of measurements are automatically compared to maximum limit permissible level of magnetic field intensity, which, when exceeded, results in actuation of a signalling device, which is automatically switched off as the magnetic field intensity reduces below the maximum limit permissible level. The device comprises an antenna sensor with two outlets, an amplifier, a frequency correction link, a threshold element and a signalling device, besides, to measure the intensity of the magnetic field an antenna sensor is used, which is connected by two outlets to the amplifier inputs, and its outlet is connected to the inlet of the frequency correction link, which is connected with its outlet to the inlet of the amplitude detector, the outlet of which is connected to the input of the threshold element, comprising an electronic relay, and outlets of the threshold element are connected with the help of a logical element OR to the inlet of the signalling device.

EFFECT: continuous monitoring of magnetic field intensity of AC power plants, simplified design of the device.
