FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to radiology, and is intended for estimation of hip head subluxation in case of Legg-Perthes-Calvet disease. Plan radiograph of pelvis is performed in direct projection. On obtained radiograph measurements are carried out with determination of distance from central point of hip head growth zone to horizontal line drawn on lower edge of "Figures of tear" from both sides. Value of upper subluxation of hip head (US) is determined by the given formula, which includes obtained distances. If US equals 0%, it is considered that there is no upper subluxation of hip head. If US is more than 0%, it is concluded that hip head subluxation is present and the higher the value of upper subluxation is, the more severe is the process in case of Legg-Perthes-Calvet disease.
EFFECT: method ensures simplicity of detection of hip head upper subluxation and makes it possible to estimate its value quantitatively, which allows to administer treatment and determine possible outcome of Legg-Perthes-Calvet disease.
