FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting technology, namely, manufacturing of glassy products, semiconductor light-radiating instruments, and also to a method of soldering without hydrogen. Mineral glass that contains oxides of elements of the II and/or III group of the periodic system are thermally treated in a nitric atmosphere at 500-1200°C in a container for dissociation of oxides. After transition of these elements' oxides on the glass surface into nitrides, the produced glassy composition becomes electroconductive and light-radiating during application of electric current. Additionally elements of the V and/or VI group of the periodic system may be added to the glassy light-radiating composition. The container for thermal treatment of the glassy composition comprising a fireproof shell includes an oxygen absorber in the inner volume. The length of the gap developed by the container parts from the external space into the inner cavity is more than the thickness of the gap 500 times and higher to the condition of full tightness. It is possible to increase the area of radiation by application of the specified compositions as a melted coating onto heat-resistant substrates. Mechanical and/or electric contacts to the light-radiating composition are produced by direct melting-in of the contact into the glassy composition, or by metallisation of the required areas with subsequent soldering by fusible solders.
EFFECT: giving electroconductivity and light radiation properties to glass as electric current flows through it.
