FIELD: powder metallurgy and methods of a gas low-temperature chemicothermal treatment.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the powder metallurgy and methods of a gas low-temperature chemicothermal treatment, in particular with methods of nitriding of metal materials on the base of iron alloy. The offered method of a chemicothermal treatment of a material on the base of iron alloy provides, that a billet is formed out of a sintered powder material based on iron alloy. Before a nitriding it is impregnated with copper or its alloy. Nitriding is conducted in a heated mixture of oxygen- and nitrogen-containing gases, exposed to action of a catalyst ensuring increase of speed of reactions of hydrogen oxidation and dissociation of the gases molecules with formation of the atomic oxygen and nitrogen. After the nitriding the billet having the temperature, that is not higher than the temperature of the nitriding and is not lower than the temperature of pyrolytic decomposing of a mineral oil, is immersed in a liquid containing the mineral oil. There is a description of a component of a block of the immersion centrifugal pump produced by this method. The technical result is an increase of mechanical strength, rust resistance and antifriction properties of the component.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase mechanical strength, rust resistance and antifriction properties of the component.
