FIELD: gas and oil production.
SUBSTANCE: here is disclosed procedure for extraction of bitumen or extra heavy oil from deposits of sand bearing oil close to surface. According to the procedure heat energy is introduced to decrease viscosity of bitumen or extra-heavy oil. For propagation of energy there is used at least one heat pressure pipe with a transporting pipe under it for collection of liquefied bitumen or extra heavy oil located one above another. The procedure consists in the following: in propagation of energy into a specified section of the deposit by means of at least two separate elements relative to the transporting pipe. There is maintained geometry of elements relative to the transporting pipe. At least one other pipe for introduction of steam and as an electrode for supply of current or as an electrode for supply of current is used for propagation of energy by means of separate elements. For this purpose the pressure pipe and the pipe for current supply are circuited as an electric conducting loop thus supplying heat energy into external zones of the deposit by means of another said pipe. There is also claimed the device for implementation of the said procedure.
EFFECT: raised volume of recovery of bitumen and heavy oil due to their melting in large spaces and due to propagation of heat energy in accurately specified places of deposit.
