FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gate (10) of valve consists of crown (26) contacting seat of valve, of skirt (28) diverging from perimetre of crown for directing gate of valve through seat of valve, and of lug (30) diverging from crown (26) and positioned in essence coaxially with skirt (28). On lug (30) there is surface relief (48) intensifying flow of fluid medium passing through the valve when the valve is in one or more opened positions. Skirt (28) is in essence of a cylinder shape; it has at least internal surface and external surface. The gate of the valve selectively travels between a position of shutoff and one or more open positions thus regulating flow of fluid medium through the valve. Also, there is disclosed structure version of the gate of the valve and of the valve proper.
EFFECT: reduced liquid friction and braking of valve fluid medium, maximisation of flow rate of fluid medium and throughput capacity of valve.
