SUBSTANCE: flow control device includes a valve body, a valve gate, a valve cage and an O-ring. At least some part of the O-ring is located inside the gap between the valve gate and the valve cage to provide sealing between them at closed position of the valve gate. The O-ring includes an L-shaped cross section.
EFFECT: effective sealing irrespective of the hole diameter of the flow control device and reduction of number of seal types that should be reserved for different applications.
