FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of nanodispersed metals in liquid phase (water, organic solvents). Proposed method comprises feeding variable current between two electrodes immersed in liquid phase and dispersed metal particles introduced into interelectrode space on mixing said liquid phase. Note here that variable current flows between electrodes with the ratio of their length to distance there between making 20÷200:1. At, 1.5-5.5 kV and 0.25-0.8 MHz, inert gas is forced into liquid phase in the form of 0.1-0.5 mm-dia bubbles while mixing is performed by continuous circulation of said liquid phase, dispersed metal particles and inert gas in closed loop including interelectrode space. Note here that reticulate electrodes are used and said process is conducted in liquid phase in the presence of at least one surfactant. Note also that circulating liquid phase with dispersed metal particles and inner gas is processed by ultrasound with frequency of 10-20 kHz.
