FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: on the basis of a ceramic mass made of kaolin or white-burning clay, a stock is formed in the form of a hollow straight or bent tube with an outer longitudinally corrugated surface. The cavity of the formed tube is filled with ceramic mass on the basis of kaolin or white-burning clay mixed with quartz sand in mass ratio of accordingly 3:7-7:3. The tube is tied across with a thread, at least in two places, at the distance of 10-30 mm from each other. The thread creates a groove in the tube surface, making 0.5-4 mm in depth and 1-3 mm in width. Then the tube is dried, the thread is removed, and grooves left after the thread are painted with ceramic paint.

EFFECT: higher water resistance of produced items that imitate bamboo coral.
