INJECTION FUEL VALVE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC F02M47/02 F02M51/06

Abstract RU 2438035 C2

FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: injection fuel valve for discontinuous fuel injection to combustion space in internal combustion engine includes the following: housing that has housing element and housing of nozzle with seat of injection valve; high pressure space that is located in housing and that is connected to fuel inlet channel under high pressure and to seat of injection valve; injection valve element that is located so that its position can be adjusted in longitudinal direction in the housing and that interacts with seat of injection valve; compression spring that is supported on one side on injection valve element and acts on the latter with closing force directed towards the seat of injection valve, and that is supported on the other side on the guide sleeve and simultaneously presses the guide sleeve so that tightness to intermediate part is provided. Guide sleeve together with control piston of injection valve element directed in the guide sleeve determines the limits of the control space in relation to high pressure space; and control device intended to control the axial movement of injection valve element by changing the pressure in control space; intermediate valve. Intermediate valve element of intermediate valve in open position unlocks the inlet channel under high pressure to control space and in closed position shuts off the control space from inlet channel under high pressure, as well as separates the control space from valve space, excluding throttle valve; and actuating device with electric actuator, which is intended to connect the valve space to fuel return channel under low pressure and to separate the valve space from fuel return channel under low pressure. Intermediate valve element constantly separates control space from valve space, excluding constant connection by means of throttle valve. There also proposed is the second version of fuel injection valve for discontinuous fuel injection to combustion space in internal combustion engine, in which the open cross section of outlet channel in case of full stroke of driven device exceeds the cross section of one throttle valve, and in this case only throttle channel provides the control, which causes the opening by movement of injection valve element.

EFFECT: invention allows developing fuel injection valve of simple design, in which at minimum costs related to the design there can be provided both the possibility of control causing the opening by movement of injection valve element, and quick closing operation of injection valve element; besides, in injection fuel valve there is the possibility of repeating the injections at very short time interval.
