FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an injection device for injecting a pressurized fluid into a conjugated chamber comprising housing 12; piston 28 is movable in the housing under action of fluid pressure in the conjugated chamber, which acts on the piston from the outside. Piston is actuated to compress fluid to be injected in high pressure chamber 50, wherein piston is configured to move towards fluid pressure in control chamber 43, whereby movement of the piston is selectively controlled by controlling the fluid in the control chamber. Injector valve 22 and associated injector hole 72 selectively communicating with high-pressure chamber 50 allow high-pressure injection of fluid medium from high-pressure chamber through injector opening when injector valve is opened.
EFFECT: invention can be used in fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines (ICE).
