FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: fastener with lightning guard connects aircraft covering and element of structure inside covering. An insulating layer is surfaced so, that it covers an upper part of a head of the fastener. This insulating layer is in mechanical engagement with a section of engagement made on the upper part of the fastener head. A periphery edge of the section of engagement made in an upper part of the head of the said fastener and engaging the insulating layer covering the upper section of the head of the fastener has a round shape along periphery. The invention also refers to a unit of the aircraft containing covering made of current conducting plastic material as a basic element, an element of the structure supporting covering from inside, and also the fastener connecting covering and the element of the structure. As a fastener there is used the said fastener with lightning guard.
EFFECT: reliable prevention of de-lamination of insulating layer during operation of aircraft, improved protection from lightning and raised reliability.
