FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: hydraulic-inertia converter (HIC), its gear box and procedure for conversion of torque with it facilitate reciprocal displacement of plates in slots radial made in rotor and form dynamic variable values of rotating volumes of working substance. Thus there is created hydraulic-inertia constituent of transferred torque summed with mechanic-inertia constituent with converted volumes of working substance. Summary value of converted torque is controlled to its maximal value transferred to a secondary shaft of the gear box by changing angle of deviation from central position of a ring of a driven unit and by interconnected with it changing ratio of reduction of the gear box.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of hydraulic-inertia converter, system of control, gear box and procedure for torque conversion interconnected functioning.
