FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as internal combustion engine, pneumatic motor, compressor or vacuum pump. Proposed rotary-vane device contains housing, end face covers, rotor with radial slots and working vanes fitted in slots. Housing is provided with inner insert whose working surface is made oval so that it is parallel in cross section of working inner surface passing through center of masses of housing. rotor consisting of two halves and arranged in center of housing is provided with through slots for working vanes, and blind slots inside rotor for counterweights. Counterweights are connected with working vanes by means of flexible joints enclosing the bushings installed on smooth rods piercing the slots in rotor walls. Bushings are installed on parts of smooth-surface rods projecting beyond the limits of rotor for rolling over inner surfaces of oval insets installed in end face covers. Spring-loaded vanes are installed inside each counterweight for displacement along axis of slots of counterweights, mass of working vanes prevails over mass of their counterweights. Longitudinal section of inner surface of housing, outer surface of rotor and outer surface of each working vanes is made rectangular. One of end face covers is made up of two parts, namely, fixed carrying part with pneumatic cylinders and sealing part of intervane spaces made with possibility of its displacement along axis of rotor. Blow-through holes are made in end face covers and rotor at equal distance from main axis of device.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of rotary-vane machine, simplified design, provision of natural working processes, pressing of working vanes to side sliding surface at constant force and reliable sealing of intervene spaces.
