FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: module sealing unit for control valve consists of packing sub-unit, of loading sub-unit and of packing holding device. The packing sub-unit consists of a packing component facilitating pressure tight packing around a rod of the valve and an anti-extrusion component preventing extrusion of the packing component through a gap around the rod of the valve. The loading sub-unit is shaped to create specified tension in packing of the packing sub-unit coinciding in direction with tension created in the packing sub-unit with fluid medium used in a controlled process.
EFFECT: reduced friction in packing used in control valve and its reduced wear.
