FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using the known position of the user receiver (142) which is stationary, or using an RTK system (150) to initialise floating ambiguity values in the WADGPS system (100) when the user receiver (142) is moving. Further, the refraction-corrected carrier-phase measurements obtained at the user GPS receiver (142) are adjusted by including the corresponding initial floating ambiguity values and the floating ambiguity values are processed using a known method (for achieving small variance) in subsequent processes to position the user receiver (142) in the WADGPS system (100).
EFFECT: eliminating disadvantages associated with navigation techniques with separate use of the local positioning system, the RTK system and the WADGPS system.
