SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio navigation. A system and a method for determining the heading angle of a vehicle comprise a first and a second antenna (12, 14) connected to the vehicle. The first and second antennae (12, 14) are configured to receive signals containing global positioning system data. The input stage (18) of the receiver is configured to receive signals containing global positioning system data. An electronic data processing device (32) is capable of receiving global positioning system data from the input stage (18) of the receiver. A data processing device (32) is configured or programmed to execute a method of determining the angular spatial orientation of the vehicle, which may include the heading angle of the vehicle.
EFFECT: determining the heading angle of a vehicle or equipment connected to the vehicle.
