SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for storing and displaying goods and products. Folding shelving unit contains racks that form solid side walls of the shelving unit. In addition, each rack is connected to the back of the shelving unit, or each rack is designed conjointly with the rear wall and is connected to it through the bend line between them, or each rack is connected to the rear wall by other means providing the ability to rotate the rack in a horizontal plane relative to the back wall. Between racks there are shelves located, each of which has a box-like shape and its sides on the perimetre have crimping, where the holes are made, and on the sides of the shelves facing the back wall and the racks the projections are made elongated along the side of the shelf, which are located in elongated holes of the racks and the back wall. In each rack additional holes are made below the elongated holes of the rack, and fasteners are placed in the holes of each crimping of the shelf adjacent to the rack and in the holes adjacent to the crimping of the rack. It also the second version a folding shelving unit is claimed.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to reduce the weight of the shelving unit, to improve usability.
