FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to absorbing products having coloured areas. The coloured areas are separated from each other. Each coloured area has a major axis. The major axis of each coloured area converges to a common convergence region on a longitudinal mid-line of the absorbent product. The purpose of the coloured areas configured as described is creating a visual impression of depth, i.e. providing that the absorbent product is thick enough to ensure excellent absorbing characteristics. Design engineers can provide high absorbability of the products with using current absorbing materials which are thin enough, but nevertheless capable to absorb a considerable amount of liquid.
EFFECT: by making the visual impression of depth, the design engineers can provide the consumers with the absorbent products which are made of less material and which are thereby less expensive, however seem to be thick at the same time.
