FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely oncology, and can be used for treating malignant pleurisy. A method involves successive intrapleural introduction of ingredients of a binary catalyst system: the oxidation substratum - ascorbic acid and the oxidation catalyst oxycobalamin. A range of the introduced doses makes 100-200 mg/kg for oxycobalamin, 125-250 mg/kg for ascorbic acid.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows providing higher effectiveness in malignant pleurisy and reducing its toxicity.
