FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic separation of various materials and may be used in agriculture for removal of impurities from grain and seed mixes that feature magnetic properties. Magnetic separator comprises two drums arranged one above the other to house stationary magnetic systems, feeder and intake bins. Top drum is mounted to reciprocate in horizontal pane to adjust thickness of processed mix layer.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation, electric power savings.
