FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to facing ceramic and glass tiles whose backside is coated with a polymer film. The ceramic or glass tiles for facing surfaces have backsides coated with a polymer film, which is formed by applying a homo- or copolymer in form of its aqueous dispersion or aqueous solution or in form of repeatedly prepared aqueous dispersion of polymer powder which is redispersed in water, followed by drying. The dispersion of polymer or polymer powder is prepared or the solution is prepared using one or more monomers selected from a group comprising vinyl carboxylic esters with 1-15 carbon atoms, methacrylates and acrylates of carboxylic acids and straight or branched alcohols with 1-15 carbon atoms, olefins, dienes, vinyl aromatic compounds and vinyl halides.
EFFECT: high adhesion strength of the tiles.
