FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of producing cellular polymer sorbent for selective sorption of endotoxin from blood plasma, involving radical copolymerisation of a functional monomer and a cross-linking agent in the presence of a dinitrile-2-azo-bis-isobutyric acid initiator, characterised by that the functional monomer used is dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate and the cross-linking agent used is dimethacrylate ethylene glycol and copolymerisation is carried out while heating to 70°C an inert atmosphere in ethanol, glycerine or water-ethanol mixture with concentration of comonomers in the solution equal to 50 wt % and the ratio of functional monomer to the cross-linking agent equal to 30-70:70-30 mol %.
EFFECT: obtaining a cellular polymer plasma sorbent having high selectivity of sorption of endotoxin from blood plasma, and mechanical strength.
