FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to a method for preparing a hydrophilic mesh polymer sorbent for selective sorption of erythromycin from a culture medium, involving radical copolymerisation of a non-ionic monomer, a template monomer, a cross-linking agent in the presence of a oxidation-reduction system (ammonium sulphate - ascorbic acid - 1 wt % to monomer weight) differing by the fact that the non-ionic monomer is 2-hydroxy ethylmethacrylate; the template monomer is erythromycin methacrylate; the cross-linking agent is ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, and the copolymerisation process is conducted at room temperature in an inert atmosphere in 50% aqueous isopropanol in the concentration of comonomers in the solution of 20 wt % solution containing the cross-linking agent 25 mole % and the relation of the non-ionic monomer: template monomer 72-3:60-15 mole %.

EFFECT: preparing the sorbent possessing high erythromycin sorption capacity.
