DRILLING PERFORATOR AND METHOD TO CONTROL ITS OPERATION Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC E21B43/11

Abstract RU 2439294 C2

FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: drilling perforator comprises a body, an electric motor with a supply circuit, a reducer with a central shaft, a flexible bore with a cutting tip arranged in a curvilinear guide, a mechanism of flexible bore return, a clamping circuit, comprising a supply line, a check valve, a normally open electromagnetic valve and a clamping hydraulic cylinder; a supply circuit, comprising a supply line, a normally open electromagnetic valve and a supply hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic pump connected with an above-piston space of a clamping hydraulic cylinder, having a piston with a stem equipped with a spring, and joined with a clamping lever, the above mentioned hydraulic pump connected to the above-piston space of the supply hydraulic cylinder with a piston and a swinging support arranged in it, where there is a toothed part of a gear shaft is installed, the lower end of which is connected to a collar, and is also connected via a pivot to a mechanism of flexible bore return, the specified shaft gear connected to an electric motor by means of a gear and a central reducer shaft. The perforator is equipped with a unit of automatic feed of a flexible bore and a sensor of its displacement, electrically connected to a unit of automatic feed of a flexible bore and a normally open electromagnetic valve of a supply circuit. In the device a line of power supply to an electromagnetic valve of a clamping circuit via a rectification device is connected to a phase of an electric motor winding connected to a body of the device, a clamping lever is made as double-link, one link of which is connected by means of a stem with a clamping hydraulic cylinder and the other one is hingedly fixed to the inner wall of the device, and the return mechanism is made in the form of a pusher with a spring-loaded plate. At the same time the pusher is equipped with a stem having a sliding contact, which is electrically connected to a sensor of flexible bore displacement. The drilling perforator is also equipped with a compensator of hydrostatic liquid pressure, comprising a piston, which is movably installed on a hollow stem with a spring-loaded plate, at the same time there is a hole in the compensator's body, which communicates its above-piston cavity with a well cavity, and in the stem there is a hole that communicates a compensator's cavity with a cavity of a drilling perforator. The method to control operation of a drilling perforator comprising an electric motor and an electromagnet valve of cutting tool feeding circuit, and including registration and control of electric motor and tunnel load current, makes it possible, in order to control a torque value on a cutting tool in process of drilling to set limit values of minimum and maximum value of electric motor load current within the framework of optimal value that ensures continuous and efficient cutting of well and rock fixation elements, for instance, in the range of the minimum current value of 2.5-4.5 A and maximum permissible current value of 4.5-5.5 A, and to automatically hold the specified current with the help of an electronic controller of current supply in a unit of automatic current supply that controls operation of an electromagnet valve in a cutting tool feeding circuit.

EFFECT: higher reliability of drilling perforator operation, reduced labour costs, simplified design and increased efficiency of operation control due to process automation.
